Hi, I am trying to plot antenna surface currents of two orthogonal modes simultaneously for an optimum feed point location, tried many times by exporting it but I am not being able to plot it . I am attaching design file and the required plot, I need help, if someone can guide me through it. Thanks

    Hi @RF Engineer

Your model looks correct, I have plotted the corresponding modal surface currents for the first 3 modes in POSTFEKO (see screenshot).

Once you have plotted the surface current, you need to choose the Instantaneous magnitude and then choose Show arrows in the Results tab to show the vector view that you see in the screen shot.

Thanks for the response, plots are fine but I am unable to plot figure (c) which we get after subtracting figure(a) from (b) or plotting them simultaneously so that orthogonal currents may cancel out  and the Minimum surface currents on the surface will locate feed point.

It is possible to do this with Lua, you will need to write a short script to subtract the 2 modal currents.

please look through the Getting Started guide and the User Manual for a description on using Lua, plenty of examples other references.
