This ERROR 40161 is a general error and usually indicates that the model includes some setup item or setting that is not supported along with Characteristic Mode Analysis.

Hi! I am using exact structure but upper layer of Perfect Electric Conductor is an irregular shape instead of triangle, when I simulate triangular structure simulations dont stop but when I replace it with actual structure it FEKO stops simulations

Could you please share some pictures of your irregular shaped geometry, something similar? I have tried some irregular structures and it didn't stop.
