    Hello,

I do not see that any shapes were created or saved in this model file.

If they were you would see them here

How did the user create the shape file? It is not a recognizable format for hm.

I realize that there are no shapes in the basefile. If you read the question it was about reading in s1.shp, instead of creating shapes.

I cannot inport s1.shp, although i can use it with templex and the tpl file

How was the shp file created originally?

What do you mean you can use it with templex and tpl file?

I don't believe the file format is correct.

Yes i agree. The shape file was created from another user.

I use the shape file and ".tpl" in lsopt using the templex .

The person who created the shpe file left the company - trying to put things together.

I just submitted the ticket. the shape file could be from an old version of hypermesh - i dont know if thats a factor

    Thanks for your reply
