I need to know how long a defined set of particle stay inside a defined volume.

I cannot use residence time because with residence time I cannot study only the particles I'm interested in but I must take into account the whole batch of particle created.

How can I do this thing?

Hi Ludovico,

With regard to analysis of only a selection of particles rather than the whole batch you can use Selection Groups to just select a set amount of the material.  Selection Groups are outlined in the last video of the e-learning here:

However if you want particle residence time in a specific volume, rather than the whole EDEM domain, then you would need a custom model, for example this one gives you residence time in specified geometry shapes:
