Introducing circular fans in ElectroFlo

Hello,

 

I have introduced my Solidworks design into ElectroFlo. The design is like a box with 3 holes prepared for the positioning of circular fans. I've imported the geometry converted to STEP File into ElectroFlo, and I am able to run analyses when I am not using fans. 

 

The problem comes in when I try to use fans. Either it will run and then suddenly stop, or there will be errors in the calculations because the velocity grows way too much. 

 

I wanted to ask which is the right way to introduce a fan? Should I use the same diameter as the hole in the geometry? What if I can not convert material with a Block Resolution higher than 1.5 mm? Is this the problem? How do I place the fan exactly in the middle of the hole?
