How to remove these small surfaces (defeatures)?

Please check the 2 images attached.

In these areas small surfaces are present which on defeaturing in HyperWorks gives slivers, but it is able to suppress them, but not able to remove them. How to remove these surfaces in HyperMesh?

    If you did split the surface then you can untrim it in HM using geom-->quick edit-->untrim surf

    If the trim was already there in the CAD, suppressing is the only way. With this the mesh wont consider supressed edges.

    The other way is to delete both surfaces which have the trim line--> and then create new surface using spline filler.

    But this isnt needed, as suppressed edges should do the job for you.
