I added factories and when i run simulation particles are not generated

I am trying to create a cylindrical specimen. I added all material properties and geometry in EDEM. I added factory as a disc placed at top of cylinder and particles are to be settled in gravity But, when I run simulation particles are not generated. Simulation is finished without any particle being generated.

It maybe that the particles are not been created due to lack of space, moving the factory plane down into the cylinder may help.
