How can I simulate and obtain the reading of Dial gauge ?

Hello 
We need to obtain the same reading in the Finite element model and compare with the  obtained from the test department's dial gauge. Which are the options?
The displazaments of the model is not the same lecture than the dial gauge
Do we need a special finite element/ conecction to simulate the Dial gauge?

    Hello Imed,

    Do you have a Dial Gauge model and you're simulating it or the test department used a dial gauge for make measurements and you're trying to replicate it with a Finite Element Model?

    Hello,I am trying  to replicatethe test department use of the dial gauge with FEM.

    I was able to do it with Springs .Is there any other way to replicate?

    Can you share a picture of your application?

    Spring elements seems like a reasonable approach.
