collection support dropdown is not active during forces export from flux to Optistruct

Hi..

I have simulated a double cage induction motor.

I want to export forces from flux to Optistruct. I did it earlier for soe other problems.

some times the collection support drop down is not active to select the imported element faces during force export.

Please find the attached picture for reference .

Please guide me.

Hi,

In the force the force data collection tries to select force collection dedicated to rotating machine instead of surface forces collection.

Can you send me your Flux project, the support on which you compute the force and the solving scenario that you use.

Hi..

I am not sure if can share my model.

But i ran a scenario for initial position in steady state AC application.

Is it not possible for exporting forces from steady state AC application ?

I observed The force export to force collection dedicated to rotating machine option is only available when we are exporting Forces resulted from a transient application.

For steady state application, force collection dedicated to rotating machine is not available. Please correct me if i am wrong.

Hi,

Yes, this available just for Flux 2D/3D in transient magnetic application.If you use steady stata AC application you don't have access to this option.
