Distribute mass modelling in radios

Hi friend, please help me, i want to calculate the COG (center of gravity) every component, and total COG of the model with summary feature (radioss environtment). But, when i used M-ADV1 (distribute mass) and choose the visualization node. but the COG is affected by the placement of visualization node? even though it used distribute mass (M-ADV 1)? is there a way to model the admass that not affected by the placement of visualization node? so we can get 'more real' behaviour of distribute mass? I search in this forum, and found same topic, but there is no solution i think

i'm sorry for my bad English

Thank you before

nb: i attached 2 simplify model (radioss 2017 environtment) all same but the placement of visualization node is not in same place. the COG in summary is totally different

    Hi,

this is a strange issue. However, the issue is resolved in recent versions as /ADMAS no longer requires visualization node and the COG is computed correctly. Therefore I recommend updating the version you are using.

I think you're right, its time to upgrade hypermesh. 2017 is too old. Thank you.

But just for sharing, few days ago i found another way to correctly calculate COG in hypermesh 2017. I just run starter in radioss, and see *.out file. In the bottom side (right before warning & error summary) there is a paragraph that describe the total mass, and COG of the model. And the value for X axis is correct i think (nearly center)
