Apply Enforced Displacment
Hi there,
I'm new at Hypermesh and I was wondering how to apply an enforced displacement as BC?
I've created a load collecter for my 'normal' constraints, and another one for my SPCD constraints, where I put dof3 on 25 for a displacement of 25mm. I've read, that I have to create another SPC with the same settings as the SPDC. But How do I merge the constraints for the SPC loadcase? And when I apply the SPCD constraints and the SPC constraints with the dof3 setting then following error appears:
*** ERROR # 176 ***
A dependent d.o.f. of rigid elements is constrained in an SPC set.
Can someone help me?

Hi Xone92,
Looks like you are applying an enforced motion on a dependent node of rigid element which is not allowed.
SPC should be applied on the same node as SPCD with same DoF checked as marked for SPCD.

Ah Nice! Thank you! That was the problem /emoticons/default_wink.png' alt=';)' srcset='/emoticons/wink@2x.png 2x' width='20' height='20'>

Hi prakash
Can you shared me any of the example model of enforce displacement. Which is to define the displacement in SPC.

grear thanks prakash.
I am facing lot of problem with press fit analysis. If possible do have any example model please share me....

I think already an example was shared with you. What problems are you facing?
Let us know about the problems and we will try our best to help you /emoticons/default_smile.png' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' title=':)' width='20'>

Hi prakash,
Is there any example model which we can apply self + acceleration load case. How can we apply that and genrally it is for Trim component.

Hi Dinesh,
can you explain what do you mean by Self+acceleration?

I want to apply four displacement boundary condition to the attached model in hypermesh (I am working in Optistruct). Please, help me out or explain how I can achieve it:
x_disp = x displacement
y_disp = y displacement
x_coord = x coordinate
y_coord = y coordinate
1. (x_coord = 100, y_coord = 35), (x_disp = 2.754, y_disp = -2.345)
2. (x_coord = 100, y_coord = 40), (x_disp = -3.754, y_disp = -1.345)
3. (x_coord = 15.3, y_coord = 100), (x_disp = 1.34, y_disp = 2.345)
4. (x_coord = 15.3, y_coord = 13.4), (x_disp = 2.34, y_disp = 1.345)
Thank you.

Hi Samuel,
Some of the coordinates which you specified are no where near the structure. Please check
Anyways you can use specify enforced dispalcement using SPCDs. Please search for SPCD/enforced displacement on forum for related posts.

I still do not understand. Could you please help add enforced displacement (-0.167, 1.234) on the node at the upper right corner of the model. Alternatively, briefly explain how to locate the node and how to apply such enforced displacement

This is the new error when I attempted to use enforced displacement:
*** ERROR # 186 ***
An SPCD component must be constrained by an SPC or SPC1 data.
GRID ID = 33
component = 3
LOAD set ID = 7
SPC set ID = 1
subcase ID = 10 -
Hi,
Constrain SPCD nodes with SPC with same Dofs as SPCD.
Here is a test file

To open fem file, you have to go to File -->import -->solver deck
