Opticontrol was not found in the model

Hello,

I'm using Hypermesh to set up optimization problems at university. When entering the opti control panel via analysis -> optimization -> opti control, I'm getting the error message 'opticontrol was not found in the model' instead of the list of several parameters as usual. How can I activate opti control for my model again? A week before this problem didn't appear.

Thanks in advance!

Bump. I've just encountered this problem too. Does anyone know the solution? Also, an error message crops up when press the card edit button: 'OptiControl was not found in the model'

    Hi All,

You need to select (Check box marked), change the values of the parameter you want to change and click return.

After this, come back to OptiCotrol panel and click Card Edit button to see the OptiControl card.

    i had the same problem.

the problem is that the space where the checkboxes and the text usually are is completely empty.

anyway, i found a solution that works whenever something isn't as normals, especially with the panel menus: restart hypermesh and laod a different userprofile (for example Abacus). then change again to Optistruct.  it unfortunately resets all your 'default' settings like 'to current component' / 'to original component'  or 'along vector' / 'along axis' ...
