Hi, i would like to add SPC1 card for nastran template, can somebody give me short advices, or maybe share some example?

I have a look at nastran template in istalation directory, but it is very complex. maybe it is possieble to include my new SPC1 card in external file.

Thanks in advance for any comments and advices

Regards!

    Hi

SPC1 is refering to group of nodes, it may not be a 'load' in hm (each 'load' is on a node)

it is possible to organize template of SPC1 as a rigidlink but actually I think convenience is not equal to using SPC+rigidlink

    Hi,

another way is organizing SPC1 as a load collector refering to a set (of nodes)

this is better than organizing it as a rigidlink

Good afternoon. 8 years have passed, and the functionality of adding SPC1 as a set of nodes has not been implemented; instead, each node must be manually selected. Constraints attached to nodes are not displayed graphically. Very unfortunate! For SOL400 there is a difference in the use of SPC and SPC1

    From Nastran QRG:

For SOL 400, a global coordinate (Gi and CI) referenced on this entry (SPCR) must also be referenced on a
SPC1 Bulk Data entry and selected by the SPC Case Control command. Please note that, for this
purpose, SPC cannot be used together with SPCR. If SPC is used, a user fatal error will be issued.

This means that it is almost impossible to use the SPCR card in Hypermesh due to the non-working implementation of SPC1.

    Am I wrong?
