Maybe, In hypermesh you have to organize patches of elem into components and assign properties for them

I do it ... but I didn't succeed.

I am not sure about abaqus pre-processor
After exporting from hm to *.inp file
try import *.inp file into another hm session, if you see more than 1 comp, it is OK
check option ELSET=... in keyword *ELEMENT

I am using HyperMesh 2022 and am experiencing the same issue.
When I review the .inp file, each component is exported in seperate *ELEMENT. However, it is not been assigned a ELSET parameter (equal to component name) so when you review the results they are all grouped by element properties.
In earlier versions of HyperMesh (checked with 2017) the ELSET parameter would be exported with each *ELEMENET by component name.
Is there an export setting to revert back to this?0 -

Please refer to the user guide for import/export options and Component Migration.

I am still having trouble splitting components exported from Hypermesh.
I have multiple components in Hypermesh, with multiple section properties. When imported in Abaqus it is all one part with multiple sections.
Not sure what to do here.
