I know this is a broad question but does anyone have a method for reliably tuning contact parameters? I have a simulation that requires 3 different contacts. The simulation is for PhD thesis. I would like the contacts to be as realistic as possible without excessively long simulation. Is there any set method for tuning parameters etc. I am having difficult getting results without large fluctuations in the contact forces.
At the moment, I am using max time step = 0.0001 integrator tol = 0.0001 and h_min = 1*10^-8.
