Macro for Bolt Creation

Hi,

Can any one send me a macro for creating a bolt connections for large assemblies....

Using nastran profile

A beam (CBEAM) element should be created between two spider (Rbe2) elements...

This macro should create a property with PBEAM prop & assign diameter to the Beam element.....

    Selva,

    This functionality of creating bolt connection with CBEAM/CBAR & RBE2 is available within HyperMesh under Connector -> Bolt panel. You may need to write small script to define property automatically.

    Thanks for ur response......

    Thru connectors panel, the holes should be selected manually.

    i want a macro such that it selects all the holes with in given a range of diameter & automatically generate bolt connections.

    I think u ve a macro for that. if u could please send it across 2 my official mail id.
