Dear All,
Please list here all bugs in HyperMesh 8.0. So we can find solution for those.

2. Filler surface command in surface edit is not exists.
3. While manual meshing display of mesh and surfaces is distracted.

Under SUSE the PDB H3-50 FEM joint orientations are incorrectly read in.

Again, While replacing nodes HyperMesh shows wrong display of element sides. (this can be corrected by pressing F1 and return). It is just a openGL visulization problem.

Rahul,
Help is available on some of these commands in HM9.0 which was released yesterday and is available to download on Altair's website.

Thanking you for help.
Actually we can not download the 9.0 as it going in block page due to company policy fo download. Still other versions are downloadable but not 9.0.
Can you send the Media to us.

Rahul,
HW9.0 requires 9.0 GWU license for which the Acount Manager responsible for your account should be involved.
Please send a request for the same to hwsupport@altair.com and Altair support will help you out with this.
Media can be sent too if that's what you need.
Have a nice day.

Now I dont have an idea whether this 9.0 version is required or not.
I mailed two times to hwsupport@altair.com. And I did got any solution for problems.
1. How I can write more than 32 char names as collector names? We have checked it with all available versions. It is not there!
2. How I can supress the yesno message which comes in replacing nodes. If this node replace destroys element then let it.
I will try to convince to our manger to take this 9.0 version. But before that we should know 'what new and fast commands available'. Is'nt it?
Thnks for quick reply..

Rahul,
1. Most solvers (Radioss, Dyna, Abaqus etc.) have an option to add a name to any given keyword. The name can be added by selecting the keyword using the 'Card Edit' panel. These names are maintained as is upon import or export in HM and can be bigger then 32 characters. You can view the full name of the collector idf needed by using the 'Component Table' available in most HM interfaces like RADIOSS, OPTISTRUCT, Dyna etc.
2.I'm not sure what you mean by yes/no message when replacing nodes. Are you taking about the 'replace' panel found in 1D/2D/3D page? Which version of HM are you currently working with?
Below are some of the new commands that are added to HM9.0. There are more that may not be listed here and are not documented.

I am very glad that you replied.
1. I mean to say 'yesno' message box like,
'Replacing this node will destroy an element. Do you wish to continue?'
I want to supress this message in macro.
2. Thanks for very useful info on component naming. Just we want to give names more than 32 chars in collector panel in HyperMesh itself.
Thanks again for the new command list in 9.0
Many times I think the Hypermesh help is insufficient while customizing HyperMesh.

Please see below is code I am trying,
################################
*createmarkpanel nodes 1 'sdgsdg'
set n1 [hm_getmark nodes 1]
*createmarkpanel nodes 1 'sdgsdg'
set n2 [hm_getmark nodes 1]
hm_answernext 'yes';
*replacenodes $n1 $n2 1 0;
*answer yes;
hm_answernext yes;
################################
As output it asking user 'yes no yes to all'
