CAN MACROS/COMMAND FILE/TCL BE RUN IN BATCH MODE?

Hi,

I am new to hypermesh and have just started learning it as need for an application.

I wanted to modify a FE model by running hypermesh in batch mode. For this kind of application what is preferable ? and how to do it?

1 Through running macros in batch mode

2 running command file in batch mode

3 writing tcl script

what will be the difference between them?

    Hey Sven,

    I got your point. Thanx a lot for explaining this. Here is what I am trying to do and I was confused about.

    I wanted to run hypermesh to modify mesh of some objects and to do certain morphing operation which may turn out to be an iterative procedure.

    While going through the hypermesh I came accross 3 options of doing it viz writting a 'C' prog, loading a command file and writting tcl script. So I thought, first option is a batch mode operation.

    I will be thankful to you if you can help me by telling a step by step procedure of running hypermesh by writting a 'C' program, I couldnt get it through hypermesh help.
