Hello,

sorry my English first and foremost.

I have an element not very complicated. I used option 2D mesh first (automesh) and then 3D mesh, but my mesh is not very symetrical. How to make symetrical in hypermesh? thank you

Maciek

Cut your geometry on the plane of symmetry using GEOM - Surface Edit tools.

Mesh half the model as desired.

    Go to TOOLS, REFLECT

    Select your mesh

Select DUPLICATE to make a copy

Select the Reflect plane (N1, N2, N3) or axis and a point

    Reflect - perfectly symmetric mesh

    - caution -

you now have duplicate nodes on the plane of symmetry

    Go to EDGES or FACES,

    Select your elements

Find EQUIVALENT (may need to adjust your Node Tolerance)

Review highlighted nodes to make sure all are selected (adjust TOLERANCE if needed)

    EQUIVALENCE!
