Hi Dear all,
I am using hypermesh 10 for creating a CFD mesh for a flow analysis, was attempting various options given in the package,
the model is basically a simple geometry Fig1 , a 1m x1mx1m with a hole of Fig2 25cmx25cmx50cm , due to this drastic changes there were issues in maintaining the aspect ratio .
as a result the number of elements were huge ...approx 28 lakhs :-& . due to this the file swells to around 120mb , and the app is not able to retrieve it back due to memory problem.#-o
trials:
1> regular hex mesh using drag and solidmap options: good results but elements are large in no.
2>volume mesh : elements fail near the hole
i would badly need help form this forum regarding: =p~
1> CFD meshing in hypermesh
2>using the Wind tunnel meshing module in hypermesh
I am open for help in the fields of structural analysis using hypermesh and optistruct ond nastran also optimization
