Deleting 2D mesh

I have used 2D automesh to mesh a geometry and then used those shell mesh to create 3D tetra mesh. Now I want to delete the shell mesh and keep only the 3D mesh. How can I delete only the 2D shell elements?

When I use delete elements I am not able to delete only the 2D elements and both 2D and 3D get deleted.
