    Are you realizing with the correct config? The 'GA-GB PARTPAT' config doesn't populate the GS value. Only the 'GS PARTPAT' does. Both configs are considered part pat.

    i am sure i realize with GA-GB PARTPAT and i recieve following errror. i check the manual

    ** USER FATAL MESSAGE 316 (IFPDRV)

    ILLEGAL DATA ON BULK DATA ENTRY CWELD

    CWELD 6765647 2 PARTPAT 954511 954512 +000C09

    ++000C095447 5447 +000C0A

    format is like that

    CWELD EWID PWID GS 'PARTPAT' GA GB

    PIDA PIDB

    XS YS ZS

    also I check the card/elems in hyper. then i see GS=0

    so i conclude there is missing GS value ?

    regards,

    mustafa

    For this config GS should be blank, so I don't think that is the problem. Just for clarification, are you using Radioss bulk for the solver? Looks like you were using a Nastran configuration previously.

    If so, try puptting a connection location in the card and see if that works. (yours are blank, or you did not include the third line) If it does, then I will check on why those fields are not being populated.

    i use nastran as a solver.

    i put the G5 value manually but it gives error again.

    *** USER FATAL MESSAGE 316 (IFPDRV)

    ILLEGAL DATA ON BULK DATA ENTRY CWELD

    CWELD 6757874 2 934009PARTPAT 940476 940477 +000BNF

    ++000BNF5447 5447 +000BNG

    GS=934009

    so GS is not problem but what it is ?

    regards,

    mustafa

    You will have to check the NASTRAN manual for details on this error message.

    I was referring to manually populating the XS, YS, and ZS fields, as it looks like they are required for the option you are trying to use. Leave GS blank.
