Autosave in 8.0

Hi all,

Sorry for two posts in one morning.

I’m looking for a way to enable the Autosave feature in 8.0. The help docs (under “Reorganization of Miscellaneous Functionality in HyperMesh 8.0”) say this function is on the file pulldown menu but I can’t find it in my installation. Is it really implemented in 8.0? Do you think I disabled it somehow without knowing it?

    Hi Greg,

    You did not disable the autosave option. It is not included in HM8.0. The documentation should be updated to reflect that. I will make sure it gets updated. I'm sorry that the documentation was somewhat misleading.

    If you want to use this option, I can send you a tcl file which you can source in HM8.0 to get the window where you can specify the parameters for autosave to enable autosave. Please let me know if you need this.
