How can I show an ABAQUS error-set in HV?

Hi,

whenever ABAQUS comes to an error during the solving process, it creates a set with the nodes or elements causing the error, e.g. a node-set titled WarnNodeSolvProbZeroPiv_1_1_1_2_1. I call this the error-sets. It is stored in the .odb and can be looked up in ABAQUS viewer.

How can I show this error-sets in HyperView?

When you are loading your Abaqus ODB file into HyperView, in the bottom right of the panel is a Reader Options button. This brings a pop up panel with some choices. For the Abaqus ODB results reader, there is a setting for 'Import Sets from ODB' You can set this to 'Error and Warning Sets' or 'All' and this should load up the sets created during the solving process.
