How to output request contact pressure between two surfaces ?

ahilan,
which solver are you using?
In OS for example you could use contf
From the Analysis page > Control Cards >Global Output Reques t> CONTF
The CONTF command can be used in the I/O Options or Subcase Information sections to request contact force and pressure output for all geometric nonlinear analysis subcases or individual geometric nonlinear analysis subcases respectively.

I use Abaqus

Hi Ahilan,
Please an output block with contact output--> CSTRESS. This should output CSHEAR and CPRESS (resultant contact pressure) in output.
Goto-->Analysis page-->Output block-->create one-->Edit the output block--> Activate ContactOutput
input number of fields to 1 and enter CSTRESS in the *CONTACT OUTPUT filed as shown in below image.
Viewing the results:
In HV, before loading the result click on Reader options > Abaqus ODB result reader and change “Group contact results” to “false”.

Thanks.
Also how to get the contact area ( analytically i can't find as the surfaces has two different curvature) ?

Hi,
you can use MassCalc panel to calculate area, volume and mass of components or elements.
go to tools page-->Mass calc--> Select elements/component related to the area you are interested in and click calculate

Sir, there is no Mass calc option in the tools page of HM

the elements attached to the contact surface can be found using Tool--> find--> find attached--> find--> save found.
Then these elements can be retrieved in Tool--> 'Masc cal' panel which gives the area of the attached elements which is equivalent to the area of the contact surface.0
