Solid Mesh (Hexa/Penta) - Orientation

Hi All,

After creating solid mesh (hexa/Penta), we generate faces and check for cracks, T-Edges, normals, etc.

Along with these checks, we also want to set the orientation of the solid mesh, meaning, when we check the normals for the face elements, it should be show RED color on the out side always.

can we create a macro for this application? Please let me know if some one have a answer.

Hi,

We are afraid to say that adjusting normal by providing vector is not possible.

In your case , if by any macro/method vector (outside of 3D elem) is obtained then also we can not adjust normals like 'RED outside of 3D elems'.
