Hi

I am a new user of Hypermesh program. I am trying to analyze an assembly with spot connectors using Radioss slover. I keep getting the error # 723 the description of the error is as follows:

*** ERROR # 723 ***

An invalid rigid element.

This RBE2 is not connected with any structural element.

RBE2 element id = 5722334

independent grid id = 5700481

Note: If this rigid element is also connected with other rigid elements,

then this error means that there is rigid body mode or mechanism remained

in this rigid element chain due to lack of connected structural elements.

I have not connected any RBE2 elements to other RBE2 elements, I have used the spots option in the connectors menu, and used the lines connection option and selected the two components for connection. I have tried to unrealiaze and rerealize the connectors. Also tried to carry out the quality check for the connectors and no free 1D elements are present.

Can some one please help me with this.

Thanks

    Hello,

please check the RBE2 element again plz.

Check the element with card editor. GN and GM are present? CM present (normaly 123456 for all DOFs)

Look if there are connected elements for the nodes GN and GM (tools->find->find attached->elements, attached to nodes)

Check with tools->check elems->1D->all points (include indepentend nodes).

How do you have created the connector (with option line)?

    type = rigid?

    mesh dependent?

mesh option? (adjust mesh->remesh or some other)

All of the connectors are realized and not red?

    Regards,

    Mario
