To automate a pre- processing task

Hello,

I'm fairly new to HM so I need an advice.

I need to automate a pre-processing task so everything is repeated a number of times without a human intervention in a batch mode (an optimisation task).

Which one is better to use: macro or command file?

    TCL is a better option. cmf files are easier to create than TCL scripts. for learing about cmf file, review the command.cmf file which hypermesh stores every command executed!
