Material properties not getting assigned automatically

Hi friends ,

I have a model containing 11 components. I want to take one component out of that model to be imported into another model. I turned off the groups, load collector and all other components except the one required. All the components had material properties assigned. I exported my required component as an Abaqus .inp file as 'Displayed' . But when I opened a new file and imported the exported file, the Materials and Properties sections are missing. The features shown are

1) Card(2) 2) Set(45) 3) Output block(1) 4) Load Step(1) and 5) Component(1).

Please tell me a solution for this. If the exported Abaqus .inp file contains the material and properties features also, I will get the result I need. Please help me .

    Hi Rahul,try to export your model using 'custom' instead of 'displayed' and use the 'Entity State Browser' to check in the export-column only those items you want to export.
