What is the problem of "The mesh is not enclosed?"

Hello,

 

I am having trouble with the file.

 

I tried to make meshed as follows.

 

1. 2D automesh - trias (cell size = 2) , surface mesh 

2. 3D tetramesh - simple pyramid

 

 

But I have an error message 'The mesh is not enclosed.'

 

I found some solution on the web, but I didn't actually get through.

 

Can anybody solve the problem?

It means that your surface mesh is not closed. So you can not fill it with Tet mesh.

Try 'Tool > edges > find edges'.
