unable to import geometry from solidworks 2013

I have been having this problem of importing .sldprt geometry into hyperworks 11 both at home using the student edition and the full version in school. The error message at the bottom of the screen says 'unrecognised file format:X-brace jacket 220213.SLDPRT. See ct_reader.msg file for details'. Please assist.

try to convert or export the model in to igs format and then , you can open in the hypermesh 11
