contact manger for ANSYS

I have use auto contact set up to set up flexible to flexible contact for ansys. After I export my model as cdb file and read into ANSYS, the target elment becomes RIGID (Which should be flexible). Please let me how can I fix this issue. Thanks!

    If you have no doubt that all settings in Hypermesh are correct, then it could be for incomplete support of Ansys (I've noticed that Ansys profile in HM doesn't provide all capabilities of real Ansys). You can open the cdb file in a text editor and make necessary changes. I have no other ideas...

    After generating a flexible contact with the option 'Symmetric Contact = Yes' HM creates components with '_Sym' at the end. These elements are detached from the rest of the structure (=> Rigid Target Elements). Check it with 'preview equiv' and merge the highlighted nodes with equivalence.

    Thanks for reporting the issue. You can use the fix (equivalence elements before export) given by GRIMME. An issue (Id: 197582) has been submitted to resolve this problem in 10.0- SA1-150.
