Hi,

In Radioss we should not provide any material and property to Rigid element(Rbody).

If you are considering any component and part as rigid then assign MAT1 cards and provide linear elastic property like E, NU & RHo.

Have you made the part/component Rigid by card editing the PART and checking the box next to Rigid?

actually no rigid card  is found instead of part

I mean to say, when you card edit component (PART) you might have activated Rbody/Adams in your model. That could be one of the reasons for the error.

@Rahul R: is it the same for the optistrut solver also....should i not define material or properties for the Rigids while solving in optistrut also......or should i create a seperate prop for rigids as 1D element prop and assign materials?......
