How can I display nodal forces generated by pulling spring elements.

 

 

I hope someone knows what to do.

 

How can I adjust it.

    Hi Lars,

     

    i try to answer for Nastran/Radioss bulk preference (you have to give a reference to solver, since there are a lot).

     

    First you request the FORCE/ELFORCE I/O option. The best way is to use the Load Step Browser. The option is located at Global Options -> Output Requests (like stresses and displacements).

    FORCE results are available for ELAS (CELAS1, CELAS2, CELAS3, CELAS4), ROD (CROD), BAR (CBAR, CBEAM), BUSH (CBUSH), PLATE (CQUAD, CTRIA), GAP (CGAP), and WELD (CWELD) elements.

     

    Now you can plot your stress forces as contour plot (e.g. 1D Force(s)->CELAS1 Force). If you switch on 'averaging' (e.g. only for the springs), then you have nodal contour plots. Use measure or notes to plot values on the screen.
