Hi everyone!

I used Elastic Plastic Piecewise Linear Material model to analysis

There are some elements not follow the material model perfectly - at some plastic strain values.

Please show me what is the reason!

    nobody is perfect, maybe the elements also not...

    Hi,

    You could try with different element formulations (shell or solid) there are several element formulations in radioss and you should also check the material compatability with the element formulations.

    You may also want to take care in how you are viewing the results. If the results are extrapolated or averaged, they will not exactly match your material definitions. Look at the actual solver outputs (i.e. centroidal or integration point results) for a more accurate comparison to the material model.
