Hi all,

i am fresher in hypermesh. Want to create polar array of elements for my model( model is cyclic symmetric, number of sectors in model is 18, that is each sector is subtends 20 degree angle ). Right now , just duplicating the original elements of one sector and rotating them. but problem is i need to again duplicate the new elements and rotate same. is there a way to create polar array?

Thanks in advance

    Hi SIDK,

there is no built-in command to create polar array, but you can do it by TCL macro

Another way to faster modeling, after duplicate and rotate one sector, you select 2 sectors and duplicate, and then select 4, 8, ...

    your process will be powered

    regards,

You can also check this macro on Script Exchange:

    'Multi Rotate Mesh'

The scripts creates multiple copies of a selected mesh and translates or rotates it.
