Durability Analysis

Hello All,

I want to do the durability analysis of one model using Durability Director of Hyperworks (version 10.1). Unfortunately, I am stuck at the very start - I can't locate the Durability Director in MotionView (as suggested in the tutoial). So I would greatly appreciate if anyone could tell me how to open the durability director for the durability analysis. Many thanks in advance!

Durability Director has been released in HW10 with Update SA1-601 (Dec 2010). HW10.1 does not contain this update. This is probably the reason why you do not find it in 10.1. If you do not have access anymore to a HW10 FlexLM license, you probably have to wait until MotionView 11.0 will be released.

Hello Harpreet,

I had the same requirement sometime back. Although, Durability Director is not 'directly' supported in v10.1, since this is a HyperWorks Process Manager application anyway, Altair folks showed me how I can use Durability Director in HW 10.1

Also, I'm just curious - for what application are you trying to use Durability Director? What's the use case?
