The Unit of volume = (The Unit of Length)^3

    That's so simple, right ?

    Hello Q.NGUYEN

Yes that so simple. The thing is like in CAD Software CATIA, UG we can change the units according to the requirement. Does do have an option like that  in Hypermesh?

Other question is we dont know the part units but we imported the part. Is there is any way to check the units of that part in Hypermesh?

    Thank you the reply

Hypermesh (as a lot of another FEA softwares) knows nothing about the unit.

That's user responsibility to make sure the coherence of input data.

If you considere that your mesh is in MM, so the volume should be in MM^3 and the surface should be in MM^2,....

    Hi,

As Q.NGUYEN-DAI HyperMesh is Unit Neutral. It is better to maintain consistent unit system.

Any inconsistency will show effect on your results as well.
