How to evaluate Non Structural Mass and Mass

Good morning,

I have to check the total weight of a nastran FEM model,I m using hw12,

and I need to know the non structural mass contribution and density contribution.

Is there any way to do it?

I tried using summary template and element calculate but I get always the total mass

In other preprocesor I know that is possible to get the two contributions.

If you know what type of mass element used, you can make a small tcl script to compute that.

Here is a work-around:

In component browser you should be able to see the structural mass for individual components. Total structural mass will be sum of the structural mass and non-structural mass will be (Total mass-total structural mass)
