how to change units in HM ?

How do I switch between different unit systems, say meters to inches, N to lb, Pa to psi and so on ?

    Hello,

     

    usually there is no fixed units. For consistency you have to check by yourself.

    If you want to switch, the you have to scale the entities.

     

    Only for exceptions are special cards, e.g. Optistruct NLGEOM solution.

    If you are using the Optistruct user profile try using this option

    Analysis page--control cards--DTI-UNITS card

    check with help.

    Hypermesh does not know units. It's user's responsability image/emoticons/default_smile.png' alt=':)' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' width='20' height='20'>
