I want know, how the connecting 2D & 3D elements by Hex/Penta elements & when to use of Rigid elements (RBE)? Where the use of types of RBE?

RBE2 == Stiff

RBE3 != Stiff

Hi,

In simple terms RBE2 adds stiffness to the body and thereby it will not deform, that is the body will be rigid whereas for RBE3 the body will be deformable.
