Import of an Hypermesh CAD file failed (HM10.0=>MV11.0)

Hello Support Team,

i can't import an external CAD data in MV. I've got a message: The file is not backwardly compatible with this version. I don't know exactly in which HM version the model file was created. I guess in HM10.0, that is not longer availible on my PC. Are there any ways to bypass this HM10.0/MV11.0 problem?

    If I understand you correctly, you are trying to import a HyperMesh model into MotionView.  Is that correct?

     

    MotionView uses HyperMesh modules to import any CAD data, so the message you are seeing is probably from HyperMesh.

     

    Can you open the model in HyperMesh 11.0?

    I experienced same problem, when I  open a file (.hm) in hyperworks

    how to solve this problem

    In which application are you trying to open .hm file?

    I was using hm13 but I m using hm 14 therefore problem was solved
