Hypermesh 12 (linux) crashes on File/Save after importing geometry

I am using Hypermesh 12.0 and have begun recently having an issue with Hypermesh crashing on File/Save after importing geometry from the latest  version of ProE (Creo Parametric). I have tried saving immediately after importing the geometry, tried importing IGES and STEP and nothing seems to help. Any suggestions on this would be appreciated.

    If you're lucky and Altair support could reproduct this crash, maybe you will have a fixed.

    But like I say: If .... image/emoticons/default_smile.png' alt=':)' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' width='20' height='20'>
