Delete part of a solid

Hey guys,

is there a way to only delete part of a solid? Which means only part of a solids geometry. Unfortunately my model neither has a surface, nor lines. Only solid.
If that's not possible, is there way to 'reverse transform' a solid into a surface and subsequently a surface into lines?

Of Course remodelling the whole model from the very begining starting with the 1D level would work, but I'd like to avoid that.

Kind regards,
Niclas

Solid part must have lines. You can use solid edit option to edit soild part. You can create solid from enclose surfaces.

    Soild : Bounding surfaces

If I delete the solid of my component, there are no lines left afterwards. So obviously a solid part must not always have lines.
I tried solid edit already...boolean & detach. neither of them worked for my issue.

Is it possible to only delete a specific part of a solid within one component?

It would be nice if you could share model file and screenshot where you want to trim part.

Okay sry it was a misunderstanding of my site. What I tried to delete was a part of a solid, which I deleted before by using the boolean Operator (A-B).
Therefore I only saw the lines, which defined the hollow volume, which is misinterpreted as part of the solid. That's why I couldn't delete it.

By deleting all solids only the surface remained, which was actually there after all. Thanks for your effort and sorry for the confusion.
