This seems to be a extra surface.Just trim extra surface with surface edit option then delete extra surface.

I'm Jessica again. Sorry to disturb you again.

For the problem of 'no closed volume found' while doing the bounding surface. Before this, I just delete the surface that has the red line edge. After the method that Rajan show to me, the problem is solved. But, I don't know where I'm doing wrong. Is it not worth if I delete the surface to just left the part (as show in picture 1).

And why should use the volume tetra for tetra mesh? Is it necessary?

Now, I'm doing the solid map. I create the solid map by trim the surface first. This is because the white line area (as shown in picture 2) should be done in smaller element side. After I do the 'trim with surface', then 'create', the 'source element not found'. Am I doing the wrong way for this?

3D Solid Map option is for hexahederal elements. If you are comfortable with all hypermesh Splitting command then you can use this option. If you are beginner then i would recommend you to refer hex meshing tutorial.

If geometry is complex for meshing & time consuming then people prefer to mesh with tetrahedral element.Refer free Ebook on practical aspects of finite element simulation.
