Macro for Creating Spring1 elements(Grounded Springs)

Hi,

Does any body know how to create Spring1 elements(Grounded Springs) by defining DOF in HM.

I need a macro to generate it. Can anyone help me?

    Assuming you are intending to use ABAQUS as the solver here based on your terminology....

    A spring1 element can be created using the masses panel in the 1D page of HyperMesh. In the elem types panel, you can select the Spring1 type for MASS elements in HM. Not terribly intuitive, but that's where this option has been made available for this element type that requires only one node reference. The DOF definition is assigned on the property card that you create for the elements.
