Thicknesses preview in Hypermesh
Hi there,
this is my first question in the forum. I've tried to search it before but there were no match.
I'm trying to visualize the different thicknesses in my model in HyperMesh. I mean, instead of having as default the Comp color visualized, I want to have the Property color.
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance,
Diego

Ups... I've found it.
I answer to myself: there is a button in the Model Browser which shows all the elements with the color from the corresponding property.
Now I need to see how to visualize (or locate) one particular element.

'Now I need to see how to visualize (or locate) one particular element.'
You can use the 'find'-panel for this.

Thanks for the answer Stefan.
I've tried the Find panel, but I thought that I was doing something wrong because I search for element-ID and it seemed that nothing was happening.
Depending on the visualization that you have in the moment, is less or more difficult to see the element that you're looking for.
Now I've just presented the FEM with a semi-transparent view and I'm seeing the searched elements.
Anyway, it's still difficult...
Isn't a 'automatic-zoom-in' option??... I mean, when the element is found, HM makes an automatic zoom-in to center the view in those elements?

I find it more easy to look for elements with the 'mask' tool. You can mask the element you are looking for (search by ID), and then reverse the selection. All other elements will hide and you will be able to see the element you're looking for (Press 'F' - fit- if you have troubles finding your element). You can turn on geometry or unhide adjacent elements to realize where your element is.

Excelent DISAHI!
I've tried and it's more or less what I was looking for. I think is a more practical solution than using the 'Find' option.
Thanks!
