analysis with the Force on MPC (Multiple point contraint)
Hi,
i've analized the Bracket at first with Forces direktly on nodes in the body. As you see everything is done good. Then i've made a new node at the center of tube and connected it (as independent node) with all nodes in the tube (as dependent node). After that i've set a constant Force on the independent Node. But according to picture ''MPC_Hyperview'' nothing (displacement, stress, etc.) ist presented.
Where is my mistake ? as far as i know we use Indpt-node to distribute the force homogen/equal on dpt-nodes.

Hi,
please check the connected DOFs (for solids 123) and weight (take 1 for all nodes).
It's a RBE3 element ? For RBE 3 the reference node is the dependent node, and all the others the independent.

Mario

Hi Mac,
I think you use RBE2 here(1 independent nodes and multi depent nodes). Then the result is not correct. For Load distribution, you should use RBE3(Center node is dependent and multi nodes = independent).
