ERROR # 2502

i have tried just a simple normal mode analysis for which i got an error....

hwsolver.mesg output from the solver:

Element 443633 had incorrect node numbering sequence and needs renumbering.

***** ERROR ENCOUNTERED BEFORE COMPLETING THE CHECK RUN *****

Solver FAILED

optistruct:: Solver run finished after 14 seconds.

somebody help me out with this... thnkzz

I did not face this error ever. But i think you can try look at card image of that element and compare to solver specs

what is that element (config, type) could you take a photo

Hi,

maybe you have created a element 'by hand' (2D->edit element->create) and switched of the 'auto order'. The automesher never creates such elements.

Delete the element and create a new on (switch 'auto order' on).
