Connector 1D Bar to 2D Shell

Hi,

I tried to connect a 1D Bar (comp id 1) element with a 2D Shell. But when I create a connector Spot weld I always get the error “failed: Link entity 1 (comp id 1) does not have a projection”.

Is it not possible to connect a Bar element with a Shell element using connectors?

I tried to create a weld using 2D and 1D elements and I faced the same problem. 

 

I will check if there is a way to create welds and update to you soon.

Try this:

select option 'add location node as link'.
